SoundCake's 1st Cd Now Available!

Hey Folks!
That insane rocking unit that we all know and love - SoundCake - has announced that their first cd, an eclectic 10-song offering of original music titled Supersized Slices, is now available.
Ive had the immense pleasure of listening to the cd and I must say that I was blown away! Hef, Slick, and Acey have successfully taken the energy and drive of their live performances and come up with pure funsanity in the form of 10 smokin hot original tunes.
The disc starts off with Hef's Lets Get Faded, an energetic & anthemic arena rocker that kicks tail from beginning to end. P.W., Pure Cheeze, When The Truth Gets Out, and Rock It All The Way are driving & melodic rockers of pure fun & mayhem. The quirky & catchy National Geographic Woman is sure to be a cult hit (and possibly offensive to some!), The Ballad of Ron Riley offers up some good ol boy southern rockin, and The SoundCake Way features Aceys in-your-face punker rapping. "Gimme Another Swig" mellows things out just a bit, featuring John "Chingaderas" Skinner's twangy slide guitar & syrupy harmonica. The cd closes with Brainious Waximus, MickSlick's spacey tune of contemporary musings, with that trademark SoundCake sing-along chorus (that gets stuck in your head and - thankfully - wont leave).

Supersized Slices is impressive in that in just ten songs you get the complete SoundCake package of arena rock, disco, power pop, hip-hop, southern rock, punk, funk, country, and psychedelia - with lyrics ranging from the ponderous to the humorous, from the sublime to the ridiculous, with appropriate sprinkles of irreverent social commentary and inspirational words of pure rockin & partyin.
The cd insert includes some cool pics of the band playing live and/or posing at various venues, and also includes the URL to a 'secret' website where you'll be able to access full song lyrics, free mp3's of your favorite covers that SoundCake performs live, and many, many other tasty treats...
