| Who are the members of SoundCake? |

| SoundCake is simply four professional entertainers who like to get the masses grooving, rocking, and partying. We LOVE entertaining folks... There are four core members plus more when needed. AC plays lead guitar, The Hef handles rhythm guitar, Mick Slick thumps on bass, and the 'drummer du jour' pounds the skins. We often roll out keyboards and other assorted noise-makers, too. And, oh yeah, being the hams that we are, all of us sing. Check out the About page for more information. |
| What type of music do you guys play? |
| SoundCake plays the absolute best in dance, classic and modern party rock. We have a selection of songs that can be good to kick back to, get your groove on, or party until last call. See the Song List for the latest list of songs we play... And yes we do take requests (see below). |
| Can SoundCake be the Master Of Ceremonies for my wedding? |
| Of course! We can coordinate your cake cutting, bouquet toss, and announcements throughout the evening. No problem. See the Booking page for more information. |
| Can SoundCake provide DJ services and/or recorded music during breaks for my wedding reception/special event? |
| Absolutely! SoundCake has a state-of-the-art PA system that includes all the gear necessary to provide dinner/break music, and full DJ services. See the Booking page for more information. |
| Does the band accept tips? |
| Are you kidding? Does a dog like a bone? SoundCake will enthusiastically accept tips, drinks, or things of significant monetary value. These have been known to greatly enhance the band's mood... |
| Does the band take requests? |
| SoundCake encouranges fans to shout out or otherwise make requests. We'll play it if we know it, and if we don't we'll either fake it or publicly ridicule you if we are unable or unwilling to do it (kidding...). Tips have been known to GREATLY increase the chance of requested songs being played (and decrease the chance of public ridicule). See the question about Tips, above. |
